Special friendships.

Friends

Thank you friend! Thanks for your friendship, when I met you I never thought you would be so special, you offered me support in the moments I thought nobody would listen or comprehend me…

Now I know God sends special people in the most difficult moments of our lives and gives us the chance to share with them happiness and sadness, special people that is always close and help us remembering how fragile we are and at the same time how fortunate we can be if we risk ourselves to share our experiences (positive or negative) with other people.

We can do it!

Tabasco Help

Last November 4th, while I was watching the news and realized how people of Tabasco (Mexico) were affected by a big flood, I decided to help them but didn’t know how.

Then I remembered how at Uni we used to organize support centers, so I made a phone call and everything started… we obtained special “authorizations” and many volunteers, supermarkets donated many things, all in 48 hours!

Wow! We did it! We obtained 25 supermarket cars full of useful things for the people of Tabasco and a lot of fun and satisfaction for helping! Something that appeared to be impossible turned into reality! And more people will have miracles as a consequence of this…

Thanks to all the volunteers and kind people that donated something! :)

My father came to say good bye after his death

Tomb on a graveyard

Some weeks after my dad’s death, my mother and I went to his tomb to visit him. I was very young, but I still remember it. When we got near to the tomb, I saw him sitting there wearing a white suit.

I approached to him running and he told me he was fine and that he wanted to say good bye, that I needed to take care of my mother and to be a good boy. When we left the place I said good bye with my hand and he smiled at me.

My mother could not see him but I still remember that moment, she was very surprised that day. My father never appeared again, except in the dreams of some of my family members… but that experience taught me that it exists something beyond death and now I’m not afraid of it anymore.

I can breath!! :)

Old photo

When I was a year and a half old, my family moved to a very cold country. My mom says that one night, she listened me breathing strangely. She woke up and realized I had my throat so closed I barely could talk and breath.

My parents called an emergency doctor and he came as quickly as he could; he entered into the house without even saying anything to my parents, he kneeled at one side of me and told me: “Miss, I need to put you an injection, but you can’t cry because if you cry you will not breath again…”, my mom says I put a crying face but I said yes with my head. The doctor put me the injection and waited until my throat opened again.

Once I was safe, the doctor told my parents that in that country, the main cause of death among children is suffocation because of the extremely cold weather, and many times on nights children suffocate and nobody realizes it until the next morning. I thank God for all the things he permitted on that night so that I can still be alive. Life is a gift; every beat of our heart is a gift from God and a compromise to give the world the best of ourselves.

She had a reason to continue going on

Hospital room

After several days of medical treatment and three surgical procedures, she looked at my eyes and asked me to stop with the procedures that were so painful for her… She was my patient, the one who was forgiving me and only wanted to rest. With an unfavorable forecast for her life, we suspended the treatment that afternoon.

The next day I saw a table with figures and a couple of photos of her grandson, she took my hand and hold it so strong that I felt like if I would vanish on that very moment. Weeks later, I saw her going out of the hospital carrying that photos on her arms… She had a reason to keep going on and I had a had one too to improve myself in my vocation…

My brother was born!

Bro Born

I have a brother who is 18 years younger than me. About one year before my brother was born, my parents had planned to have a surgery in order to have no more kids. In spite of this plan my mom got pregnant, and although she had a high risk pregnancy that lasted only 7 months my brother was born perfectly fine. This shows that for God impossible is nothing!

My family was saved from a flood

Flood

A couple of years ago while I was on a family trip, the river of the town we were visiting grew so much that it flooded, we could get out of there on time but many families couldn’t and had to stay on their roofs during the flood. My dad and I decided to “swim” in order to look for people; this could be a heroic act but also was criticized as stupid and imprudent. Today I thank God because I didn’t die drown as a consequence of my lack of judge.

Weather

When I was a kid, I remember I could control weather, no matter where I was, in order to do not do sports when I didn’t want to.

Cozumel Travel

One year ago, the 25th anniversary of my parents was coming and there was no much money to give them something. During the Christmas party of the company I was working at, I asked God for help to give them something really good… that night I won the first prize of the party: An all paid trip to Cozumel! My mum and dad enjoyed it very much, but the most impressive thing is that since they got married that was the place they dreamed to visit as a honey moon!
